All students here start with the book Heavy Metal Rhythm Guitar Volume 1. This is for many reasons and all for your benefit. Especially if your going to do any recording. Or want to learn about songwriting. From there you'll work through the rest of the books in the series.
Yes you will learn stuff that's not in the books as well.
